Adobe

Adobe offers a selection of cloud-based solutions for marketing, analytics, advertising, and commerce.

the challenge

While Adobe offered best-in-class enterprise solutions, their website lacked the proper technical information needed in order for the CTO, IT, and Tech departments of prospective customers to endorse a sales decision.

the solution

Create a single destination that can speak directly to a variety of IT personae, be discoverable as a role-based solution in the global nav, and scale to other roles, e.g., marketing, support, etc…

my role

Lead Information Architect / Experience Designer

Phase 1 - Discovery: competitive/comparative analysis, content audit, stakeholder workshops

For phase 1 we conducted a number of Adobe stakeholder interviews to understand the client’s perspective on the problem.  We also conducted a content audit on the existing site, uncovering numerous artifacts that would prove useful to IT personae. In addition we compiled a competitive analysis to showcase best-in-class experiences from Adobe’s competitors.

Phase 2 - Content mapping

Graphed existing technical content to the journey map provided by the client.  From there, I identified the information gaps, and suggested appropriate content solutions.

Phase 3 - Design

Prior competitive analysis and content mapping helped shape the final deliverables; entry points, zone diagrams and wireframes.  The single page wireframe solution successfully surfaced all the appropriate content to satisfy the needs of the tech audience.
